CLAYTON, N.J. — October 2 — North Delsea Drive saw a junkyard fire that Clayton firefighters reached just before 9:30 p.m. and discovered multiple vehicles actively ablaze.

Firefighter 41 arrived and confirmed the fire conditions. Crews from Clayton Fire Company fought the blaze, and Engine 41 received water from tender operations run by Franklinville and Janvier volunteer fire companies.

Water shuttling was provided by mutual-aid tenders to Engine 41 to support suppression operations. The companies stayed on site for about three hours, then cleared the incident and resumed service, per Clayton Fire Company's report.
