Fallowfield, Pa. — October 22 — Members of the Fallowfield Fire & Rescue Dept. 45 conducted a hunter-rescue training scenario during their weekly drill. The exercise simulated a hunter who had fallen from a tree stand and was suspended in a safety harness.

Firefighters practiced rope rigging techniques to safely release the trapped individual and lower them to the ground. EMTs reviewed patient assessment and packaging procedures for fall-related injuries.
