Valley Chemical Firefighters Highlight Rescue Tools at Fire Prevention Day

Elysburg, Pa. — October 8 — Fifteen members of the Valley Chemical Fire Company participated in Fire Prevention Day at G.C. Hartman Elementary School, joining students and staff for a hands-on safety demonstration.
Firefighters showcased Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools, explaining how they are used during vehicle extrications. Crews also demonstrated air bag and cribbing operations, lifting the tire of Brush 275 to show stabilization techniques.
