Stratford, N.J. — September 28 — Captain Dan Camburn and Firefighter Dylan Jess of the Stratford Fire Department traveled to New York City to participate in the annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk, honoring the memory of fallen first responders and military heroes.

The event, inspired by FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller’s heroic actions on September 11, 2001, raises funds to support mortgage-free homes for families of fallen firefighters and military personnel, as well as smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.

Their participation reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that give back to the fire service and the broader public safety community.
