Haddonfield, N.J. — October 7 — The Haddon Fire Company No. 1 continued Fire Prevention Week with visits to Central Elementary School and the Presbyterian Preschool, teaching students about fire safety and what firefighters do to keep the community safe.

Children learned about emergency preparedness, saw firefighting gear up close, and even witnessed firefighters respond to a real call during the visit. The department’s outreach aims to build fire safety awareness among Haddonfield’s youngest residents while strengthening trust between the community and its first responders.
