Haddonfield, N.J. — October 6 — The Haddon Fire Company No. 1 kicked off Fire Prevention Week with educational visits to Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School and Methodist Preschool, where firefighters met with students to talk about fire safety and prevention.

Throughout the week, crews will continue visiting schools across Haddonfield to give children an inside look at what firefighters do and how to stay safe in emergencies. The department’s outreach is part of a long-standing commitment to community education and early fire safety awareness.
