Hasbrouck Heights, NJ -  Emergency responders from the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department safely managed the aftermath of a rollover motor vehicle collision on Longworth Avenue, finding no trapped motorists or serious injuries at the scene.

The crash response came on the morning of Sunday, October 18, 2026, shortly after department units had already turned out to investigate an unrelated residential fire alarm activation along Burton Avenue. As crews were wrapping up the initial alarm run, emergency dispatch alerted personnel to the overturned vehicle collision on nearby Longworth Avenue.

Department Chiefs and the crew of Engine 2 arrived quickly to assess the crash site and confirmed that the driver had successfully exited the overturned vehicle without requiring hydraulic extrication tools. Medical evaluations confirmed that no injuries were sustained in the crash.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle, isolated electrical hazards, and controlled fluid runoff to safeguard the residential roadway within Bergen County. Responders remained on scene securing the area until a commercial tow truck arrived to right and remove the vehicle, allowing the street to reopen safely to through traffic.
