Linden, NJ - Members of the Linden Fire Department took part in the 2025 Metropolitan Urban Search and Rescue (MUSAR) Exercise held at “The Bunker” in Bayonne, New Jersey.

The large-scale regional training event brought together multiple emergency response agencies to enhance coordination and demonstrate technical rescue capabilities. The exercise featured live rescue simulations, structural collapse operations, and hazardous materials response scenarios.

Linden’s Decontamination Unit and team collaborated with neighboring departments, including Hackensack Fire, highlighting their collective commitment to preparedness, safety, and interagency teamwork in protecting communities across the region.
