Ambulance Assists Sadsburyville Fire Company at Reported Gas Leak in Sadsbury Township

Parkesberg, PA - On October 16th, 2025, the Sadsburyville Fire Company, along with EMS units from the Keystone Valley Fire Department, were dispatched to the 200 block of Continental Avenue in Sadsbury Township for a reported gas leak.


Rescue 31 and Ambulance 8 responded to the call and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that the report came from PECO. Upon arrival, PECO representatives informed responders that they had detected high levels of natural gas inside an apartment and required fire department assistance.


Rescue 31 personnel met with PECO on scene, and together they quickly identified and mitigated the source of the leak. Ambulance 8 stood by for precautionary measures while fire crews operated.


The situation was brought under control by Captain 31 (Rust), and the scene was subsequently turned back over to PECO. All units were cleared from the scene at 22:12.
