Working House Fire in East Fallowfield Township

Parkesburg, PA - On October 18th, 2025, at approximately 17:24 hours, the Modena Fire Company, along with multiple mutual aid departments, was dispatched to the 1600 block of Goosetown Road in East Fallowfield Township for a reported house fire.

According to information from the Chester County 911 Center, the caller reported that one side of the residence was fully engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, Modena Fire Company units immediately began fire suppression operations and initiated a search and rescue of the structure.


Assistant 37, Bryant, assumed command of the incident and requested a “Working Fire Dispatch” as well as a First Alarm “Tanker Task Force” to support firefighting efforts. As additional mutual aid units arrived on the scene, they were assigned specific operational tasks under the direction of the incident commander. Deputy 37, Reason, served as Operations Officer and coordinated the suppression and rescue teams.


Several animals were rescued from the residence and received treatment from on-scene EMS personnel. The animals were later transported to a nearby Emergency Pet Care and Specialty Hospital for further medical evaluation and care.


Command notified the Chester County Fire Marshal’s Office, the SPCA, and local utility companies for follow-up actions. The fire was declared under control at 17:49 hours, with all units actively engaged throughout the incident.


All Keystone Valley Fire Department units were cleared from the scene by 19:17 hours.
