Cranberry Firefighters Complete 40 Hours of Rope Rescue Training

Cranberry Township, Pa. — October 20 — The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company recently completed 40 hours of hands-on training as part of a Pro Board Rope Rescue Technician program. The course focused on advanced rope systems, knot operations, and technical rescue scenarios designed to prepare participants for certification.

This training expands the department’s capability to handle high-angle and confined-space incidents, ensuring responders are ready for complex rescue operations. The program also supports the department’s ongoing commitment to meeting NFPA 1006 Technician-level standards.
