Holiday Park, Pa. — October 23 — Norm Auvil, a veteran responder, led the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department's Basic Ropes & Rigging class on Tuesday night. Auvil, a former fire chief, EMS chief, and rescue paramedic with decades of experience in high-risk rescue operations, led firefighters through the basics of rigging, tool familiarization, and knot tying.
