Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company Conducts Water Access Rescue Operation

Dorothy, N.J. — October 13 —On Monday, the Dorothy Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist its EMS duty crew on Morris Lane in Belcoville, where floodwaters on Danehauer Lane prevented access to a patient.
Marine 12-7 responded with a crew of four, using a four-wheel-drive pickup to reach and safely extricate the patient. The crew packaged and transported the individual to awaiting EMS personnel for medical care. A total of nine members assisted in the operation.
The department credited teamwork and preparedness for the quick and safe resolution of the incident.
