FALL RIVER, MA - On Sunday, October 20th, the Bristol County regional fire academy held a live burn at the Louis A. Shea Jr. Training facility in Fall River. Massachusetts Fire Academy instructors worked with numerous firefighter candidates from all over the south coast for the live burn. Recruits advanced attack lines through the smoke-filled burn building, searching for victims and the seat of the fire. Two, three person teams entered as primary and back up during the all day training exercise. Fall River Special Services provided rehab for all the participants.
