Sedan Driver Rescued After Collision with Fuel Truck in Cochranville

Cochranville, PA - At approximately 8:23 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Daleville Road and Faggs Manor Road for a reported accident with entrapment.


Upon arrival, Deputy 25 confirmed that the driver of a sedan was trapped beneath a fuel truck. Based on this assessment, Assistant 27 requested an additional engine from Station 22 to assist with the extrication efforts.


Rescue 27 arrived shortly after and began the extrication operation, while Assistant 27 established Daleville Road Command and requested Null’s Towing to the scene for further assistance.


Crews successfully extricated the patient within 15 minutes of dispatch. The Cochranville Fire Company extended its appreciation to all industry partners who assisted in managing the incident.
