Coatesville, PA - Early Saturday morning on 04 October, emergency units were dispatched to the 200 block of the Highway for a motor vehicle collision. Before crews arrived, dispatch reported that one of the vehicles involved had an occupant trapped inside. Upon arrival, firefighters quickly deployed hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the individual. After removing both doors, the occupant was safely freed and transferred to EMS personnel for transport to a nearby trauma center. Crews remained on scene for just over an hour to complete operations.
