Slippery Rock, Pa. — October 18 — During the Laurel High School football game, the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team joined the Scott Township Volunteer Fire Department at Station 1500, the Slippery Rock Township Volunteer Fire Department at Station 1400, and the Hickory Township Volunteer Fire Department for a first-responders appreciation event. In remembrance of public safety workers, the fire department displayed its ladder truck and assisted in raising the American flag during the pre-game ceremony.
