Avondale Fire Company Hosts Life Skills Class from Avon Grove Intermediate School

Avondale, PA - The Avondale Fire Company had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Melhado’s Life Skills class from Avon Grove Intermediate School this morning. During their visit, students learned about fire safety, the importance of calling 911, and enjoyed a guided tour of the firehouse. They also had the opportunity to spray water and received their very own fire helmets.
The Fire Company expressed gratitude to Ms. Melhado and her class for visiting and shared that they hope the students had as much fun as the firefighters did.
