Middlesex Township, Pa. — September 25 — The Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to a small commercial fire Thursday afternoon that officials say began from a malfunctioning compressor.
According to the department, employees on scene acted quickly, using fire extinguishers to knock down the flames before fire crews arrived. Upon arrival, firefighters ensured the area was fully extinguished and secured the power source to prevent re-ignition.
The incident highlights how early detection and extinguisher use can make a critical difference before the arrival of fire personnel.
