Saxonburg, Pa. — September 29 — Station 15 members of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company continued their hands-on training with an in-house hoseline advancement drill this week, focusing on the fundamentals of fireground operations.
Firefighters — including several junior members — practiced deploying and advancing multiple attack lines, maneuvering through obstacles, and flowing water on simulated fire scenarios. The training reinforced coordination, control, and confidence on the line.
Station 15 holds most of its sessions on Tuesday nights as part of its ongoing “Training Tuesday” series, aimed at keeping members sharp and ready for all types of incidents.
