Bruin, Pa. — September 24 — On Wednesday , members of the Bruin Volunteer Fire Department took part in an aerial operations training led by Grit Fire Training when they were briefly dispatched to a tree on wires in Bear Creek.
The training, coordinated with Chicora Independent Hose Company and Petrolia Volunteer Fire Department, is part of a multi-night series focused on advanced aerial skills.
Officials thanked the community for continued support, noting that fundraisers make this training possible. There are 60 chances left for the October 12 Steelers game raffle and ongoing opportunities to purchase Sportsman raffle tickets supporting firefighter training and equipment.
