Bruin, Pa. — October 3 — The Bruin Volunteer Fire Department was requested into Armstrong County for a second-alarm structure fire earlier this week. Engine 29-1 responded with a crew of three, while two additional members went directly to the scene after finishing work.

Upon arrival, Bruin firefighters assisted with fire suppression and overhaul operations, working alongside other responding departments to bring the fire under control. Crews remained on scene for approximately two and a half hours before returning to service.

No injuries were reported, and mutual aid coordination played a key role in a safe and efficient operation.
