Cranberry Township Firefighters Assist EMS at Crash Scene

Cranberry Township, Pa. — September 30 — On Tuesday, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company units 21 and 51 were dispatched to a motor-vehicle accident with reported injuries. LT 21-2 arrived first and confirmed two vehicles involved, with one driver trapped.
Rescue 21 arrived shortly afterward and placed an inside rescuer with the patient while the rest of the crew began removing the driver’s-side door. The patient was safely extricated and turned over to EMS for evaluation. Crews remained on scene for about an hour assisting with cleanup and traffic control before returning to service.
