York, Pa. — September 27 — The Laurel-Rex Fire House (Station 1), one of the oldest continuously operating fire stations in the United States, was rededicated and had a ribbon-cutting ceremony today by the York City Department of Fire/Rescue Services. It was first constructed in 1877.
