September 25, 2025 - On Thursday, Baldwin Borough Firefighters conducted a comprehensive training drill using an acquired structure located at Streets Run Road and Brentwood Road. The session focused on key operational skills, including hydrant operations, aerial setup using the ladder truck, hoseline advancement, and fire suppression techniques.

Next week’s drill will shift focus to forcible entry, search and rescue methods, and roof ventilation operations. The department expressed gratitude for the rare opportunity to train in a real-world environment, emphasizing how valuable such hands-on experiences are in enhancing firefighter preparedness and effectiveness.
