Salem, N.J. — October 13 — Salem Fire & Rescue members spent Friday night conducting hands-on training focused on fire attack tactics and water-supply operations. The drill also included ladder truck setup and aerial use, giving crews a chance to refine coordination for both local and mutual-aid responses.

Department officials said these exercises strengthen operational efficiency and teamwork across districts. Regular training in aerial operations ensures that firefighters remain ready to perform safely and effectively during complex incidents, whether within Salem’s jurisdiction or when assisting neighboring departments.
