Coordinated Response Contained Structure Fire in Beach Haven

Beach Haven, NJ - At approximately 5:40 PM on 06 October, the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported structure fire at the corner of Bay Avenue and Second Street. Upon arrival, crews observed heavy smoke coming from the building.
Mutual aid was promptly requested, bringing in assistance from island and mainland fire companies, along with a Rapid Intervention Team (RIT). Thanks to the coordinated efforts, communication, and dedication of all responding units, the fire was brought under control without injuries.
All personnel returned home safely following a strong display of teamwork and professionalism.
