October 1, 2025 — Last night, members of the Berlin Fire Company and West Berlin Fire-Rescue participated in a hands-on training session led by their partners at Berlin EMS. The focus of the evening was familiarization with the medical equipment carried on Berlin EMS ambulances.

This cross-agency collaboration provided firefighters with valuable insights into EMS operations and procedures, ensuring smoother teamwork during real-world emergencies. Understanding each other’s tools and methods is vital when seconds count, and the session enhanced the firefighters’ ability to assist effectively on medical scenes.

The fire company extended its gratitude to Berlin EMS for their professionalism, time, and dedication to strengthening interdepartmental coordination.

The evening served as another example of the ongoing commitment by Berlin’s emergency services to maintain readiness, teamwork, and excellence in public safety.
