October 15, 2025 — It was a busy morning for firefighters across Wall Township, as all three township fire stations worked together to handle two separate emergency incidents, showcasing strong coordination and dedication to public safety.
Motor Vehicle Accident with Rollover
The first call of the morning involved a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with a rollover at Allaire and New Bedford Road. Firefighters arrived quickly, stabilized the vehicle, and ensured the safety of all occupants. The area was secured for EMS and law enforcement to continue operations safely.
Smoke Condition at Whole Foods Market
Shortly after, all three Wall Township stations were dispatched to a smoke condition at Whole Foods Market, located in the West Belmar response district. Firefighters worked with mutual aid partners from Spring Lake Heights Fire Department to identify the source of the smoke. Once located, crews effectively ventilated the building, ensuring the safety of both workers and shoppers.
Mutual Aid & Community Support
While Wall units were engaged, Avon Fire Department and Neptune City Fire Department provided coverage to the township, ensuring continued fire protection during the concurrent incidents.
The Wall Township Fire Department expressed pride in its members’ professionalism and teamwork, thanking mutual aid partners and reaffirming their commitment to serving the community with dedication and efficiency.
