September 24, 2025 — Members of the Freehold Fire Department recently participated in a hands-on training session focused on key operational skills including water supply management, pump operations, and elevated master stream deployment using the department’s tower ladder.

During the drill, firefighters practiced establishing and maintaining a continuous water supply while simultaneously setting up the tower ladder for effective master stream operations—critical techniques for controlling large-scale fires and protecting exposures.

“Regular training like this keeps our crews proficient with both basic and advanced tactics,” the department shared. “Our goal is to ensure smooth coordination between engine and ladder companies in any scenario.”

The Freehold Fire Department continues to emphasize preparedness and teamwork through consistent, realistic training exercises that help firefighters stay sharp and ready to serve the community.
