Crews Assist Ruscombmanor Fire Company in Containing Rubbish Fire Threatening Structure

Blandon, PA - Fire units were dispatched to assist the Ruscombmanor Fire Company with a rubbish fire that was exposing a nearby structure. Deputy 12 arrived shortly after dispatch to find a small shed and rubbish fire spreading into the woods and threatening a large shop.
Engine 12 arrived on scene and deployed a hand line to quickly knock down the flames, successfully preventing the fire from extending into the exposed structure. Engine 66 and Brush 12 arrived soon after, stretching additional hand lines to contain and extinguish the brush fire.
The situation was brought under control, the assignment was scaled back, and crews completed overhaul operations before clearing the scene.
