NEWBURGH, NY - Newburgh FD responded to a two-vehicle PIAA at 147 Lake Street on October 16th. City of Newburgh Police and Empress EMS were at the scene. Firefighters assisted with injured parties and checked both vehicles for hazards while spreading speedy dry on fluids on the roadway. Empress EMS transported one driver to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital; other driver was RMA. The City of Newburgh Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
