Multiple Streets Closed as Crews Operate on Avenue C

Bayonne, N.J. — October 10 — Bayonne Fire Department units responded to a building fire on Avenue C between 21st and 22nd Streets. Multiple streets in the area were closed as crews worked to bring the fire under control.
The City of Bayonne and Bayonne Police Department advised residents to avoid the area while operations were underway. Firefighters remained on scene for overhaul and safety checks following extinguishment.
