Vehicle Strikes Utility Pole, Closing Pucker Street in Coventry

Coventry, Conn. — October 12, 2026 — Pucker Street was closed in the 800 block between Babcock Hill Road and Cindy Drive following a vehicle collision with a utility pole, as stated in a notice from the Town of Coventry Fire EMS. 

The roadway was anticipated to stay closed as crews worked to remove the vehicle and secure the damaged utility lines. Drivers were told to steer clear of the area and take different routes until the work was finished.
