October marks the beginning of Fire Prevention Month, and this week, members of the Patton Fire Company No. 1 conducted their annual fire extinguisher and fire prevention class at Cambria Heights High School. Throughout the month, the department will continue with additional school visits and in-house training sessions to educate students and community members on the importance of fire safety and prevention.
