Blue Knob Volunteers Respond to Large Brush Fire in Kimmel Township

Portage, PA - Blue Knob Volunteer Fire Company is currently providing mutual aid to Imler Company 42 at the scene of a large brush fire in Kimmel Township, Bedford County. Multiple units from Blue Knob are assisting in the operation, including Engine/Tanker 86, Brush 86, UTV 86, and Brush Tanker 86. Firefighters are working alongside neighboring departments to contain the blaze and prevent further spread as crews continue to battle challenging conditions in the area.
