October 12 — Bloomfield, N.J. — Over the past two weeks, Bloomfield Firefighters completed live burn training at the Middlesex County Fire Academy. The department conducted multiple live-fire evolutions designed to simulate real-world conditions and reinforce essential firefighting skills.

These biannual training sessions help ensure that every firefighter remains proficient, confident, and prepared for the challenges faced on the fireground. Each scenario focused on tactics such as fire attack, search and rescue, ventilation, and crew coordination under controlled but realistic conditions.
