September 27—Saxton, P.A.: Company 35 and Company 17 of Saxton Volunteer Fire Company responded to a car accident on Broad Top Mountain Road on Friday. HALAS, Ambulance 15, and Ambulance 17 were also sent out. Three vehicles were involved in the collision. After suffering injuries, two of the operators were taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention. To lessen the risks to other drivers, firefighters worked to manage fluid control and remove debris from the area.
