September 23—Saxton, P.A.: On Tuesday evening, Saxton Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched on the 35-01 Box to respond to an automatic alarm at Kelly Apartments. When Chief 35 arrived, he reported that all visible exterior conditions on sides A, B, and C appeared normal. Crews conducted a careful investigation inside and found that the alarm had been triggered accidentally. Company 36, which was en route to assist, was placed back in service when it became clear no hazard existed. The alarm system was reset and the box was returned to service.
