On Friday October 13th 2023 the Selden Fire Department hosted its annual fire prevention open house. The open house was hosted at Selden Fire Department Headquarters located on Woodmere Place, Selden, New York. Live demonstrations were conducted included vehicle extrication, dryer fire, grease fire, bedroom fire, fire sprinkler suppression with smoke detector. Suffolk County Police Department Highway Patrol was in attendance with the Roll Over simulator.
