THE VILLAGES, FL - At 9:30am on October 4, 2025, The Villages Public Safety Department held their 2025 Awards and Recognition Ceremony. Members of the department as well as family and friends gathered at the Allamanda Recreation Center at 1515 St. Charles Place in the Villages for the event. Awards were given for acts of bravery, life saving through EMS, years of service, as well as other commendable actions by members and a civilian. Promotions of rank were also included in the ceremony. IAFF Local 4770 Professional Firefighters of The Villages provided refreshments for the event.
