Bloomfield, N.J. — September 29 — On Monday afternoon, Bloomfield Fire Department Engine 3 was requested into the City of Newark for a fourth-alarm fire. The company was initially assigned for house coverage but was later moved to the scene to assist Newark Fire Department crews and mutual-aid companies from across Essex County.
Bloomfield firefighters worked alongside Newark units in suppression and support operations as crews brought the large incident under control.
