Chesterfield responds to fatal crash
CHESTERFIELD,VA-Tones dropped on Oct. 5, at 6:45 am,for a motorcycle vs vehicle MVC.
According to Captain Joe Harvey, Deputy Fire Marshal, Chesterfield Fire and EMS,"Responding were Engine 220,Medic 220 and Medic 205. Chesterfield County Police also responded.
Police said,"a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by Nathan C. Lysinger,21, was traveling North on Courthouse Road when a 2012 Toyota Camry turned onto Courthouse Road from Dawkins Drive.
The motorcycle struck the Camry. Lysinger of the 1700 block Queen Elizabeth Avenue,Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Captain Joe Harvey, Deputy Fire Marshal said," There were no other injuries or transports."
Police continue to investigate, at this point, police say the investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed.
