Cronomer Valley FD Responds to Shed Fire in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY – Cronomer Valley Fire Department responded to a reported shed fire at 156 Mountain View Ave on October 12th. Units arrived to find the shed fully involved. Mutual aid was provided by Good Will, Orange Lake, and Plattekill Fire Departments. Firefighters used hand lines and hand tools to extinguish the fire and then used tools to separate contents. Orange County Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-13 and Ulster County Deputy Fire Coordinator 56-4, along with Town of Newburgh Police, were on scene. Cronomer Valley Car 2 requested the Town of Newburgh Fire Inspectors Office to respond. Town of Newburgh Police completed a general incident report.
