Two-Alarm Fire on Bonvue Street Leaves One Man in Critical Condition

Pittsburgh, PA - Pittsburgh firefighters responded to a residential structure fire early this morning in the 200 block of Bonvue Street. The incident quickly escalated to a two-alarm response.
One man was able to escape the home safely before crews arrived, while another individual remained trapped inside. Following a secondary search, firefighters located the second man on the second floor and successfully extricated him from the residence. He was transported by medics to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The fire was brought under control at approximately 3:50 a.m. The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire Investigation Unit is currently working to determine the cause of the blaze.
