Fire Crews Work Two Hours to Save Dog from Deep Crevice in Northpole

NORTHPOLE, NY - On Saturday, September 20th, the Northpole Fire Department was requested to assist the Glen Park Fire Department with a dog trapped in a rock crevice. Crews arrived to find the animal wedged horizontally about halfway down an 8-foot-deep crevice only 12-inches wide. Firefighters from Northpole and Glen Park worked for over an hour before requesting the Watertown Fire Department for additional manpower.
