Northpole, N.Y. — September 20 —On Saturday morning, the Northpole Fire Department was dispatched to a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident involving two cars and a tractor-trailer on State Route 283.

Upon arrival, Calcium Fire Department was requested to shut down the roadway on the north side of the scene while crews operated. Firefighters from Northpole worked to mitigate hazards and assist with clearing the roadway to restore traffic flow.

The department was assisted on scene by Guilfoyle Ambulance and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
