Firefighters Rescue Rider Injured on Remote Trail

Lorraine, N.Y. — September 20 — On Saturday, The Lorraine Fire Department and South Jefferson Rescue Squad were dispatched for a dirt-bike accident with injuries off County Route 90 in the Town of Lorraine.
Lorraine Fire responded with a rescue and UTV, with Adams Fire assisting due to the remote trail location. County Car 100 also responded.
The patient was located near Hessel Road, brought out by side-by-side, and transferred to an ambulance. Air medical met crews at a nearby parking lot and flew the patient to a Syracuse-area hospital.
