The Cranford Fire Department joined the Cranford Woman’s Club this week to support the Monster Mash Cereal Dash, a community initiative aimed at collecting cereal donations for local families in need.

The Woman’s Club gathered 121 boxes of cereal, which firefighters picked up and thanked the group for their generosity and community spirit. The donations will continue to be collected until October 29, with drop-off locations at the Cranford Fire Department and the Downtown Cranford office.

The Monster Mash Cereal Dash will take place on October 30, after which all cereal donations will be distributed to Cranford Family Care, helping to support local residents facing food insecurity.

The department expressed its gratitude to everyone involved, highlighting how strong community partnerships make a lasting difference for families in Cranford.
