Adams Fire Brings Safety Education to Young Learners

Adams, N.Y. — October 7 — The Adams Fire Department continued its Fire Prevention Week outreach with a visit to Teddy Bear Corner preschool on Wednesday.
Firefighters spent the morning teaching young children about basic fire safety, including how to recognize firefighters in their gear and what to do in an emergency. Students also got a close-up look at Engine 1-4-2, learning about the tools and equipment used to fight fires and perform rescues.
